Reach the Children provides underprivileged children opportunities to become self-reliant by strengthening families and communities.

Reach the Children takes a Community Development approach.  The organization supplies communities with the resources, training, and support needed for community members to plan and implement sustainable, long-term solutions for the challenges they face.  Often, organizations enter a community and attempt to alleviate one specific problem by implementing their own solution. Too often the attempt fails, partly because the solution affects only a small part of a much larger problem.  Failure can also be attributed to a lack of collaboration with community members in the resolution and implementation of the solution.
